On the final project I collaborated with Lilly to show identity through pictures of the bottoms of shoes. We compiled many photos of the bottoms of different peoples shoes. These photos showed where they have been and represented them by showing their style and who they are. We cropped the photos and edited them to black and white to make them uniform. The picture of each person gives you an idea of what they are like by showing their facial expression, the way they sit with their shoes, and how they choose to look for the camera. We choose to do this because it shows where people have been and can represent what they have been through. In the end we took the pictures and clipped them on a piece of string; the final was a collection of the photos clipped on the string. It shows "taking a walk in someone elses' shoes" and looks at it in a more literal way.
